On the 23 and 24th of April 2016 Christchurch will host the annual Trans-Tasman invitational dodgeball competition.11938004_669669963133661_8087730689313996806_n

This year the tournament will consist of a men’s and mixed competition, with an invitational woman’s competition. All competitions will run concurrently, pool play being competed on Saturday/Sunday morning, and the finals on Sunday. Both Women and Men are able to compete in both the mixed and the Women’s/Men’s competitions respectively. It is expected that this tournament will see teams come from Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Dunedin and of course Christchurch.

The tournament will see the top dodgeballers’ in Australasia competing in what promises to be one of the most exciting dodgeball tournaments in New Zealand this year.

The event itself will take place within the Howzat indoor centre in Riccarton, Christchurch.

Participant fees are;

  • Men’s Competition – $30
  • Women’s Competition – Free
  • Mixed Competition – $30
  • Both Mixed and Men’s – $40

Please pay registration fees to the dodgeball New Zealand bank account at 03-1520-0002784-005 please include; your name, team location, and the competition you are entering (M for Men’s, W for Women’s, X for Mixed, and MX or WX for both) into the information so it can be allocated to you. If you could also send an email or message when you have paid to inform us, that would be much appreciated.

Finally, anyone who is interested in viewing the action is invited to the Howzat Centre. Fixture times are TBA on the website, however all day on Saturday or Sunday there will be quality dodgeball being played. For anyone who has never seen a game played before this is a fantastic opportunity to view some world class dodgeballers in action!
